The medical clinic has re-opened at its new location: 1857 Pine Street. Carl, shown above with Dr. Stoebner, was the first patient to arrive for an appointment this morning. Carl has been a patient at the Mission for about a year. He and his wife, Kathy, say they are excited about the new facility and are pleased with the personal care they continue to receive.

The shelves arrived today, and the active charts have been transferred from the Medical Drive location. The Medical Care Mission’s medical clinic, now located at 1857 Pine Street, will be open for business on Monday, June 29, at 9 a.m.

The Mission’s staff has been working last week and this week to put together all of the little details that will help things run smoothly when the clinic reopens at the 1857 Pine Street. Above, Darla Elvington, Office Manager, secures the paper towel dispenser in one of the 18 exam rooms. On Monday, the staff learned about ways the new phone system will streamline communication within the clinic and increase efficiency in managing high call volume. Otoscopes  and other exam-room necessities were installed on Tuesday. By Wednesday, computers were up and running with Internet access. See more photos on the Mission’s facebook page.
